Hello Community Radio lovers.

I am pleased to pass on the following latest news in the world of Smithers Community Radio.

Thanks to the help of a $1000 grant from BV Credit Union, Bronze and Silver level sponsorships from Naturally Empowered and Mountain Eagle Books respectively, and approximately 20 new community radio memberships, we were able to purchase a new 2 tray CD Player.
We also purchased a phone and had a line installed. Now you can call in and talk to your favorite dj at 847-8769.

It has been over a year in the making, but with a lot of hard work from your dedicated Community Radio volunteers, we are broadcasting pre-recorded and live programming - and are ready to celebrate with you.

Yes, you can hear us all the way from the Telkwa landfill to the airport and beyond on 93.9 fm.
We are currently testing our signal with a repeating playlist, but we are also testing our DJs.

Listen to our youngest DJ, Adrian, do his first show tonight (Friday Dec. 4th) at 5:15pm. On Saturday there is Abdel and Dave presenting their shows back to back starting at 1pm and Sunday Glen spins some Canadian content at 3pm.
