HOMELESSNESS MARATHON - FEBRUARY 22

On February 22, 2018, Local 93.9FM (CICK Smithers Community Radio, Smithers, B.C.) will host a nationwide broadcast in solidarity with the homeless and under-housed. Campus and community radio stations throughout Canada are participating to bring attention and awareness to the housing crisis affecting our communities.

CICK is proud to broadcast this event for the 8th year running and has provided local content for the marathon.

Liliana Dragowska and Dawn Hanson interview a mix of speakers including individuals with personal experiences of homelessness and addiction as well as representatives from local community organizations working on making changes locally.

In addition, several individuals who have personally struggled with a period of homelessness will share their experiences.
