Lots of high energy modes all over the place now. The craft fair at the High School last weekend was quite the incredible experience. WOW! Talk about creativity and everything else. It was amazing and wonderful. All those beautiful, home-made creations. We are definitely in a different mode as a society than we were twenty years ago.

Next Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 10-11 am, I will be interviewing Nathan Cullen live about the private members bill he has presented in Ottawa to protect our west coast from oil tanker traffic. That move is also a sign of our times; it is a brilliant and daring move. And wouldn't it be so good to protect this rich ecosystem for the longterm? Instead of mourning it later? We have lots of examples in history of farsightedness on the part of rulers. He was seeking 100,000 signatures. Now Avaaz has taken up the cause. Sounds great to me. I love the work Avaaz does. So send in your signature folks. We need a show of hands here. Who wants to protect our beloved and wonderfully vital West Coast?
